GenCon Scrapbook: Episcopal Prophet of Sexual Justice
Glad to see the Pharisee party well represented at General Convention. They are not as other people.

No doubt the wrong place to put this, but for some reason, I can only see the top quarter of the photos (I see the face of a middle aged gentleman from the nose up- I assume there is more to it)- the rest is covered over by a blank box. (same is true of the other GenCon post). Do I need to change some setting?

So just how pretentious, self-righteous, and self-important is it to carry a sign proclaiming yourself a “prophet”? Especially since said sign was provided by the Unitarian-led [Non-] Religious Institute? I would think a sign from Bill Engvall would be more appropriate.

When e-Harmony, match.com, and asking the Altar Guild to hook you up with someone have all failed . . .

This brings to mind: “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (Romans 1:21-23, KJV)”
He does look somewhat like a creeping thing…
