Office Depot ‘Supports Bravery,’ Meaning ‘Hey Kids - It’s Great to be Gay!’

This is part of a national email campaign from Office Depot:

What is this “Born This Way” Foundation? Cruise over to their web site if you dare, where you’ll learn that this is the work of no less courageous an individual than Lady GaGa, and sponsored by the usual lefty suspects such as the MacArthur Foundation.

Let me remind you that Staples, which has a policy of not taking positions on political issues, also sells office supplies.

Sigh.  Good thing I had already used all my credits for toner cartridges…  I will let my kids know to do their back-to-school shopping somewhere else.  I will also send a letter stating that they have lost $1,000 per year of my business.  Oh well.

I think we’ll go paperless.

Thanks, Greg. Next time I will be shopping at Staples for office supplies. Does Office Max still exist?

Yes, although I don’t know their policy on taking political positions.

I emailed them to say I liked their products but not their politics and noted that I would no longer be buying from them.

OfficeMax still exists and will be our source from now on.  Thanks for postings items like this.

Exactly. Just so I’m on consistent ground as to my position regarding Chick-Fil-A, this business (or it’s owner) can support whatever issues it wants. For First Amendment reasons, they have a right to operate and shouldn’t be denied business licenses just because you may disagree with them.

But I can certainly exercise my right as a citizen to choose where to conduct my business. For that reason, I support Chick-Fil-A by buying meals from them. I can certainly choose not to purchase office supplies from Office Depot, however.

Be Kind - I will not say anything I wouldn’t want my mother to hear (and she was a “wash your mouth out with soap” sort of mommy!)

Be Brave - I will stand for me convictions, despite the current slant of society.

Be Yourself - I will buy a Chik Fil A salad (ok, and maybe a brownie) after I buy my school supplies, ink, and paper from Staples!  smile

Ted Haggard and Ellen Degeneres were both molested as children. They were not “born this way”. Neither are homosexuals with straight twin siblings. But lets not let the truth get in the way of indoctrination.
