Biden: Planned Parenthood Innocent of Pre-Born Blood

Last night, Vice President Joe Biden told several whoppers regarding Benghazi and its aftermath, the Romney tax reform proposal, and even his own voting record as a U.S. Senator. For his performance, he got backslaps all around from his party. So he thought he’d take his act on the road, according to LifeNews:

Campaigning in Wisconsin, pro-abortion Vice President Joe Biden misled voters today by saying Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion business doesn’t do any abortions.

“Now these guys pledge that they’re gonna de-fund Planned Parenthood, which under law cannot perform any abortions,” Biden said.

That would be news to Moloch’s own mortician:

Planned Parenthood did 329,445 abortions in 2010 while it provided prenatal care to only 31,098 women and referred only 841 women to adoption agencies.

The number of women receiving prenatal care dropped significantly from 2009 to 2010, as the abortion business helped 40,489 women in 2009 — meaning almost 10,000 fewer women received prenatal support from Planned Parenthood last year than the year prior, or a drop of almost 25 percent.

So again we have to ask the question: is he a liar, or is he ignorant, or both?

LIAR!

You can’t be that stupid and become VP.

Wanna bet, Bill?

Biden is a bag of hammers.  The guy will, and does, say anything and everything that bubbles up through the thick mire that is his consciousness.  That he’s a heartbeat away from the White House terrifies me.

I like the alliterative lilt of “mendacious moron” better than “ignorant liar”.  Besides, Joe might think the former is a compliment cheese
Maybe Joe was just doing his Alfred E. Neuman, “What, Me Worry?” imitation.

Daniel - don’t insult Alfred E. Newman.  one of the greatest characters of the 20th c.

Biden might be condemning PP, if he says “under law they cannot perform any abortions.”  If that’s what he thinks the law is, and he’s told they have records of how many they perform, wd he say they ought to be closed immediately, w/ officers, et al, arrested?

Hmmmmmmm….  Wanna see him correct himself, say publicly that he thinks they shd be doing all those abortions each year?  It’s only > 300,000.

Okay, I decided to test that statement:  “Under law, they cannot perform any abortions”.

Well, if this is so, someone had better get on to this website and inform them to stop advertising that various of their health centres will do it!

I’m Irish, so I have no particular bias towards or against any state in America, and no knowledge of Planned Parenthood operations, so all this is the result of pure random Googling.  From that PP website:

“Abortion
The Abortion Pill (Medication Abortion)
In-Clinic Abortion Procedures
Parental Consent and Notification Laws In-Clinic Abortion Procedures
In-Clinic Abortion Procedures at a Glance

Medical procedures that end pregnancy
Safe and effective
Available from many Planned Parenthood health centers
Costs about $300–$950 in the first trimester”

Picked a state at random from their “Find a health centre” and, lucky Kansas, here are your results: three Planned Parenthood health centres.  Two offer “abortion referral” services (which means they don’t carry out the procedures on the premises but will send you on to a hospital or clinic that does) and one offers “abortion services”.

What are abortion services?  According to the descriptions on the Planned Parenthood website:

“Where Can I Get a Medication Abortion?  How Much Does Medication Abortion Cost?

Visit a Planned Parenthood health center, a clinic, or a private health care provider to find out where you can get the abortion pill.  Planned Parenthood centers that do not provide it can refer you to someone who does.

Nationwide, the cost ranges from $300 to $800.  Costs may be more or less, depending on whatever additional tests, visits, or exams are needed.

Where Can I Get an In-Clinic Abortion? How Much Does It Cost?

Abortions are available at many Planned Parenthood health centers, clinics, and the offices of private health care providers.  Use our health center locator to find the nearest Planned Parenthood health center that offers abortion services.  If there is not a health center nearby that provides the abortion services you need, call your nearest center for a list of referrals.

It can be difficult to find a health care provider who performs abortions after the first trimester.  To find one of these providers, call The National Abortion Federation at 1-877-257-0012.  Please keep in mind that after about 24 weeks of pregnancy, abortions are usually performed only for serious health reasons.

Nationwide, the cost at health centers ranges from about $300 to $950 for abortion in the first trimester.  The cost is usually more for a second-trimester abortion.  Costs vary depending on how long you’ve been pregnant and where you go.  Hospitals generally cost more.”

So when is Mr. Biden going to call the cops on these lawbreakers?

I don’t know what Biden thought he was saying but you can be sure that someone will be able to spin it in a way that clueless people will believe what he says.

For example, the new meaning of the words Health Care:

An ordinary person might consider the side effects and consequences and describe
Birth Control pills, Abortion pills and Abortion Surgery as Health Hazards

but Pro-Abortion Activists have been able to convince people that
Birth Control pills, Abortion Pills, and Abortion Surgery is Health Care

According to the campaign, he actually meant that PP couldn’t use federal funds to pay for abortion. Even that won’t be true once OCare is fully implemented—HHS guarantees it.

This is sort of off subject for this thread but I am beginning to wonder where Muslim people and Sharia Law stand on the issue of abortion. Do they have their own way of taking care of this problem? For instance, what would happen to a Muslim woman if she decided to abort the potential son of her Muslim husband?
I wonder if Muslim Extremists are keeping quiet about the abortion mandate because they think that this Obama Care mandate will save them the trouble of annihilating the U.S. and American women will simply destroy the next few generations without any effort on their part.

Betty: There is no explicit prohibition on abortion in Islam, but in general Islamic nations have forbidden it except in limited cases.

Sorry, but anyone here that thinks Biden is stupid hasn’t been paying attention.

He is a typical liberal - he doesn’t CARE about the truth.  He says what the audience wants to hear, knowing that he won’t be called on it.  Same for Obama for that matter.

If the press doesn’t call you on your lies, and in fact will repeat them for you, what incentive do you have to tell the truth?  Doesn’t lying make more (political) sense?

Just typical liberals.  And shame on the media for encouraging their bad behavior.  Shame on us for putting up with it.

Biden is either stupid or a liar or both. These people will say whatever they have to in order to accomplish their agenda.

The best way to do away with something in a free society is to drive it out of business.  In the 19th and very early 20th century Manhattan was literally choking on horse manure and horse carcasses.  The car put horses out of business.

Too many abortions, not enough adoptions?  Deregulate infant adoptions! http://www.cato.org/pubs/journal/cj15n1-7.html

If Biden is that stupid, it’s scary, since he’s a heartbeat away from the presidency. I think probably B.Hunter[13] is right in saying that like most lifberals, he just doesn’t care about truth. He - and they - say whatever fits their position.
