The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant, hospitalized

Her condition is

“…hyperemesis gravidarum, a potentially dangerous type of morning sickness…thought to affect about one in 50 pregnant women but …less than one percent of women with the condition need to be hospitalized.”

Intercessions from the Book of Common Prayer (1662) are up at Lent & Beyond.

I saw this on Yahoo and wondered if it were true. Just saw it on GMA this morning. So most likely it is. I am glad that the Duchess is getting appropriate treatment at a hospital. GMA had a couple of their own hosts who have had this or their wives had had it. This condition can be very serious if the woman becomes dehydrated. Sooooo very glad that Katherine is getting good care. What a good hubby Prince William is - visiting his wife everyday. I pray for a quick recovery and a healthy baby at the end. God’s blessings on William, Katherine, and their child.
