“It’s got a good reverberation, this cathedral.”

I tuned in just as they were starting the Gospel procession. It was utterly amazing. I couldn’t tear my eyes away from it. And, then the procession back to the throne of St. Augustine.

You’ve got to see it for yourself. I can’t find words to describe it. I couldn’t bear to listen to the sermon.

This alone would lead me to think that the Anglican Communion is doomed.

I’m confused by your comment, Ralph.  Why would you think that the procession and the ceremony would mean that the AC is doomed?

???

To me, the costumes, the dancing, and the drums were rather out of place in a Western worship service of any kind. And, if ABp Welby kowtows to the homosexual activists, throwing African (and other conservatives) under the bus, I suspect that it will be over.

I didn’t like his vestments, either.

Maybe I’m just unusually grouchy today.
