UPDATE:  Louisiana Astroturf

UPDATE:  An audio recording of the organizational meeting planning the disruption of the event, has been published.  I need to amend the astroturf statement.  Let’s just call it what it is - Alinskyturf.

If ever there were an astroturf movement, this is it.  There is no way that this was not an imported crowd of rabble rousers.  Todd Starnes is correct and the people of Louisiana don’t act this way

A group of enraged protesters exploded in anger after a chaplain prayed in the name of Jesus at a town hall meeting in Louisiana hosted by U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy.

The verbally-abusive crowd also heckled a Vietnam War veteran who attempted to lead the group in the pledge of allegiance.

It was one of the most heinous acts of un-American, anti-Christian behavior I’ve ever seen, folks.

Louisiana State chaplain Michael Sprague and the unidentified Vietnam War veteran should be commended for maintaining their composure in the face of such verbal barbarism.

If I were a member of Congress, I would require ID to get into a townhall without regard to party.  This way imported rabble will be identified but actual constituents would be able to openly discuss issues of the day.

It amazes me that the left preaches decorum and respect UNLESS it is towards a person or issue with which they disagree.  We need prayer more than ever, folks.

Update:  Ace has this from the DNC.  You may remember them as the ones who think it is unamerican to require an ID to vote.

“We have to make sure that we can not just count the ballots but verify every name and signature,” Brazile said as party members began applauding. “And I want to make sure that at the conclusion of all of our votes, that you, the members of this party, will be able to review those ballots.”

Is anyone else getting sick of this all out war on sanity?

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in recent months has ruled that it’s all right to require an ID for voting in Virginia, but it’s racist to do so in North Carolina.  Obama stuffed this Appeals Court with liberal judges who are now delivering the expected unhinged opinions.

These methods will be the death knell of the “town hall meeting”.

This may be off topic, but anyone want to take bets as to who’s really behind the wave of bomb threats to Jewish organizations?

Hmmmm.  Wonder if this has anything to do with the rising hysteria.
