I think we can declare victory at this point.

Problem is, I can’t decide if that’s a good thing.

With those suits, if they can get their hair inside a rainbow oven mitt, we could make them bishops.

These guys are great!  We need to get them next year for the Maundy Thursday service at Virginia Theological Seminary.

Best cover ever of “Sweet Home Alabama,” and sweeter than Lynyrd Skynyrd’s reconciliation with Mr. Neil Young. Wherever Ronnie Van Zant is in the afterlife, I hope he is granted the pleasure of seeing this.

<a/ href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_Balalaika_Show>Total Balalaika Show</a>  Another great cultural event I new nothing about. I’ll have to rent the DVD.
(And then even wear yellow banana suits, too? cool hmm)

I’ve never heard of these guys, but I can only conclude that Spinal Tap has a new gig.

Awesome!

What a great video!  I’m a sucker for balalaika music, so I really enjoyed a few of their other videos.  I even found a theme song for the PB lurking here

I have never seen so many wireless microphones in use at once—the whole mass choir. The soundboard for this group must be massive, and possibly custom-built. I don’t know that you can buy a soundboard that big. Truly impressive production.
The Rabbit.

Well that’s it.  I’m hooked.
Why haven’t I heard of punk polka before this?

Posted by anglicanlutenist on 04-02-2008 at 07:45 PM

I hope there is a DVD.  Can’t you see Nikita Khruschev banging his shoe?  Thanks!

Posted by Dick Mitchell on 04-02-2008 at 08:20 PM

Just what is it I am supposed to see?
