I didn’t like RR when he was President, but the press’s outrage at this speech left me speechless. I grew up under the constant threat of nuclear war, and I always knew Commies were evil. (BTW, I have changed my mind totally about RR, and have fully receovered from my former political affiliations). The left in America wants to believe there is no evil in the world, except possibly those who point evil out. The Soviet Union was evil and I salute RR’s destruction of it.  The Dems who say it would have fallen without Reagan are deluding themselves and are simply trying to re-write history.
