Binky the Web-Elf, longtime webmaster of CaNN, lost his mother to a car accident today - not only Mother’s Day, but her birthday as well. Please post your prayers and condolences here.

Binky, I’m stunned to the point of being speechless. Rest assured you and your family will be in my prayers and the prayers of thousands of Stand Firm readers tonight and in the days ahead.

Speechless, indeed.  How…how awful.  I’m so sorry, Binky.  Very, very sorry.  Take care.

amen. Desperately sad and a time to remind ourselves that God oversees everything and is the only one for us to turn to.

Job 1:20 Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”

May Binks and all the Binklings know the great comfort of blessing the name of the LORD at this difficult time.

I am so sorry.

What a bitter and hard loss, made worse by the shock.

I hope that those who are injured will recover.

May you be especially aware of the strong and sure presence of Jesus, today and in the weeks to come.

Dear Binky and family—I am so sorry.  I know it tears your hearts to pieces.  The loss is so huge, but the suddeness of it makes it all the worse.  Lord be with each one of them, now.  Touch their hearts and hold them close in the days to come.

In Jesus Name always, in all ways,
amen
