Transgendered Male Claims To Be Pregnant
Tuesday, March 25, 2008 • 1:23 pm

Thomas Beatie, who used to be a woman, appeared in the most recent issue of The Advocate, a magazine for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender readers, Portland, Ore., television station KPTV reported.

Beatie wrote the article, which includes a picture of him while he was 22 weeks pregnant. According to the story, he went through a sex change, but decided only to have chest reconstruction and testosterone therapy.

Beatie was able to keep the reproductive organs he was born with. The article said he stopped getting the injections and was able to get pregnant.

In an interview Thomas Beatie said that their situation "sparks legal, political and social unknowns."

Ya think?
The entire article can be read here.

Science can be a very dangerous thing and medical science has created very dangerous things indeed! Come Lord Jesus Come!

She is pregnant in the organs she was born with regardless of what else cosmetically may have been done.  Deal with it.

So, some woman who thinks she is a man says that she is pregnant. So, who’s child is it?  Her wife sure didn’t get her that way!  What some people won’t do to make the headlines!

What issues does this raise? A woman had a double mastectomy and is pregnant.

Now what is the correct term for a “transgendered” woman, who thinks she is a man, has surgery to help enforce the charade and then has sexual realtionships with men.  I confess to being confused.  Is he/she a transgendered gay, lesbian, bisexual or other?

He only has sex with his wife, according to the article. He is pregnant due to being artificially inseminated.

I’m sure that clarifies any possible confusion. wink

Beyond “trans-” into “inter-”.
Up until now, I thought that all “inter-“‘s were born that way.

How long did the TV news reporter have to rehearse to maintain a straight face on camera while saying over and over “HE is pregnant”?  Yikes.

Texex got it right.  Bilateral mastectomies and facial hair does not a male make.  Men do not have uteri or fallopian tubes.  God knew what he was doing when he designed both men and women.  He also established marriage between a man and a woman, not between two women.  I pity the poor child this unnatural family will produce.  Talk about gender identity issues!

Does this count as “fresh hell”? The story speaks volumes about how deranged and off course our culture has become. Enough said.

Far too many years ago to count, Howard Stern showed a filmed radio studio session on some late-night cable channel as a “feature” (Oh! that I had gone to bed early that night!). His guests were a group of lesbians explaining why they were lesbians.

One of the guests was a man. Obviously. Howard asked if he was a boyfriend to one of the lesbians. The man told him, no, he was a lesbian, too. After a moment’s delay, some clarification was offered.

It seems this man enjoyed the sexual company of women, and thus identified himself as a lesbian. The reason he’d not ventured to have a sex change was, as he put it, because he already had the necessary equipment and it saved him having to strap on certain, er, devices.

Uh, huh. Either the man is unclear on the concept, or he has the best pick-up line for gratuitous sex with lesbians ever invented.

The sad thing was that this explanation was readily accepted by all others in the studio, including Stern. One of the lesbians was so turned on by his story that she made a ‘date’ with him for right after the show. One imagines their collective IQ might have actually reached double digits. Anyway, I had a good laugh, albeit at the expense of a group of really stupid people.

According to the story, he went through a sex change, but decided only to have chest reconstruction and testosterone therapy.

That’s not a sex change.  Breasts do not make you female, therefore removing them does not change the fact that you are female.  Adding male hormones simply makes you a hormonally unbalanced woman.

...that their situation “sparks legal, political and social unknowns.”

How so?  A lesbian couple decided to have kids, so one of them underwent IVF and got pregnant.  It’s happened hundreds of times before.  The only difference here is that one of them pretends to be a man.

Does anyone know what the legal requirements are to have oneself legally declared the opposite sex to the one that one was born? I am thinking it varies by state.

It seems that in some states one can simply declare oneself to be the other sex, and everyone is required to go along with it, despite the physiological facts of the genitalia of the birth sex.

From my observation, the teenagers from my daughter’s schools, about one out of every forty kids is now a “transgender”, usually boy to girl. The schools support this and if the parents object, the teenager just waits to get to school to change clothes to present themselves as the opposite sex. Everyone at school, other students, teachers and administrators, then calls them their chosen names and refers to them by the chosen gender pronouns. (I think it might be illegal not to?)

I just pray they do not start taking hormones.

Yet more evidence—as if any were needed—that it is physically impossible for a woman to become a man.  And vice versa.  They’ll always be whatever they were born to be, their delusions notwithstanding.

This story has made it to the UK, along with the picture, courtesy of the Daily Telegraph. You can read it here.

Thankfully, there are a couple of responses quoted as well.

‘Pregnant’ man stuns medical profession

They put the quotes in the wrong place.  The headline should read: Pregnant “man” stuns medical profession.

And I’ll bet you any money the medical profession isn’t “stunned” in the least by this.  A woman is pregnant.  So what?  The only thing that’s stunning is the stupidity of calling her a “man” just because she’s been grotesquely deformed by surgery and chemicals.

This does raise legal issues. Why does the law allow someone to be “legally male” if the person still has their biological, functioning, female sexual reproductive organs?

According to his article, Mr Beatie went through a sex change but decided to have only chest reconstruction and testosterone therapy, stopping short of making any changes to the reproductive organs he was born with.

Mr Beatie is legally male and lives with his wife, Nancy, in Bend, Oregon.

And I would say the opposite as well: Why does the law allow someone to be “legally female” if the person still has their biological, functioning, male sexual reproductive organs? I don’t think an adult with a penis that can ejaculate sperm should be legally allowed in the women’s restroom.
