TIME: Eight Years of Photographing President Bush

Thursday, January 22, 2009 • 7:00 am

Two photographers for TIME magazine talk about what their jobs were like for the last eight years. After watching a year and a half of media fawning over Obama, I laughed out loud at a remark by one of them about the “cult of personality” that arose around Bush in the days following 9-11.

Other than that, though, this is an excellent short video that’s well worth a few minutes of your time.

That was wonderful.  Thanks.

Unfortunately, we won’t see a man of his stature for a long, long time. Praise God for sharing him with us.

Can anyone explain the Bush hatred syndrone?  I just do not understand.

Old Soldier,

My friend Chip Morris is a local talk-radio host (conservative) who has the 3-6pm (Drive-Time Happy Hour) slot.  He and his co-host call it BDS: Bush Derangement Syndrome.  It would be hilarious if it weren’t true.  smile

Maybe we’ve met…

Taking on the whole Muslim terrorist evil was too much for any one man.  It seems to be too difficult to get in Washington very many exellent and capable ethical people to fill out a team.  His team and advisers made some poor moves.  I don’t see any one else able to do as good.  Lord have mercy.

Thank you! I have always had the deepest respect for President Bush. The man did what he felt was right. I have been behind him the whole way.
I pray for our new president and for our country. I confess, I’m frightened at what the future may bring. I pray that God will have mercy upon us, and rest secure in that love alone.
I read on msnbc this morning that President Obama plans to reverse the foreign family-planning rule. Our tax dollars may soon be helping to fund abortions in other lands.

(tried to put on a link, but am too computer challenged to get it to work right.)
