Volunteer for Depravity…with Episcopal Church Services of San Francisco [WARNING: Graphic Content]

Friday, July 10, 2009 • 1:17 pm

Bishop Marc Andrus is chairman of the board of Episcopal Church Services of San Francisco.

Episcopal Church Services of San Francisco wants you to donate your time to area events.

What kinds of events?

I have warned in the headline that there is graphic content in this post. That was my way of being able to warn you AGAIN that if you click this link, you will see things you might not want to see, and you will see things children definitely shouldn’t see. Please make sure there are none around if you decide to click this link.

So anyway.

One of those events is called the “Up Your Alley” Fair.

However, you will see things Bishop Marc Andrus thinks is worthy of Christians’ volunteer time.

Thank you, Bishop Andrus, for celebrating diversity.

Oh.  My.  God.

A Bishop endorses this smut-laden shamefulness?  Come soon, Lord Jesus.

Of course, it’s the orthodox who are obsessed with sex. The gays and reasserters are all pure minded types who never stray from committed relationships.

Well, K9 blocked it on my proxy filter. That tells me all I need to know.

And they wonder why the collection plates are empty as well as some of the pews…

Greg, is there an explicit connection between ECS and this event?  I seem to recall ECS being listed as a sponsor on a Folsom poster, but that was a while ago.  I was wondering if there’s any new evidence of their involvement that’s come to light?

Uhhh, never mind—I found the incriminating page:

Excuse me a moment, I think I need to go throw up…

I don’t know what all the fuss is about.  Surely a great many of these afficiandos of dead cow couture and linked metal rings have been baptized.

#5, you have to go to this page on the ECS site.

My stomach turned. The feeling of revulsion is overwhelming. Any Christian Church, in NO WAY AT ALL, should be supporting this.  But then again, TEC is really not Christian any more.

I notice that the event is scheduled for SUNDAY, July 26th.

Isn’t that special, to set aside a certain day of the week for this fair…..

Sorry for the OT, but Senator Harry Reid is planning on attaching the new Matthew Shepherd Hate Crimes bill as an amendment to the 2010 defense authorization bill which will be voted on in the Senate on Monday morning. Please contact your senators 202-224-3121 and demand that they vote to deny the hate crimes bill to be attached as an amendment and/or refuse to vote for the defense authorization bill if the Hate Crimes bill is attached as an amendment. The hate crimes bill would allow our right to be free from religious persecution, to be destroyed, as we’ve seen happen in the UK and Canada. Here’s a video clip of attorney general Eric Holder basically saying that white heterosexuals and Christians would not be protected equal protection under the hate crimes bill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnziaXfYhc4&feature=related

Andrus did not emerge overnight, and he is not an anomaly.  He was previously elected a Bishop of a Southern “moderate” Diocese, and did not hide his beliefs. He is simply more forthright than institutional liberal Bishops, who try to hide where the Church has ended up.

Still awaiting Andrus’ official “coming out.”

[17] Posted by heart on 07-10-2009 at 05:13 PM • top

Sodom and Gomorrah, I’ll wager Andrus has been fantasizing about this his entire life.

I don’t know if anybody actually wants to see this, but if you want to know what’s really being advocated here, there’s a great blog, zombietime.com, which has posted photos of last year’s “event”.  The blog’s owner, “Zombie”, goes incognito to various leftist events and then posts his/her photos on the blog anonymously, due to the many death threats he/she apparently gets from the so-tolerant Left. There are blurred versions for the squeamish.  They include graphic public sex acts taking place in the street.  The entry for the “Up Your Alley” fair is about ten down on the home page.  Don’t worry, there’s an intro page first, you’re not taken directly into anything that would scare the horses!

[19] Posted by littlemary on 07-10-2009 at 07:14 PM • top

Will Andrus be witnessing for Christ, or offering reparative therapy?

The ABC and other bishops need to see what’s in that zombietime.com site.

Still awaiting Andrus’ official “coming out.”

That dude sets off gaydar units everywhere.

Why not send the ABC the site’s homepage address?

[23] Posted by Cennydd on 07-10-2009 at 08:03 PM • top

Better Cennydd to send him to the ECS site and let him click on the event on his own.  Makes the point better.

And to think, he began his Episcopate in the Dio I left!!  And we never did get an answer as to “why” he left one of his assigments with a gag order in place?
I have prayed for Mark and Sheila for a very long time. I am also very very very grateful to have the ACNA Bishops we have!
Lord have Mercy. And may the Archangels surround the young and vulnerable of those places harmful.

We all need Reconciliation of a Penitent and a Hot Shower after checking the Intro page of this Pornography.
And then have our computer’s cleaned.
And I once took Communion from this man…St. Augustine best be correct that no person is able the desecrate the Eucharist, the Consecrator is only the vessel!!!
I’ll be going now to be quite ill and pray a longgggggggg time.

Of course, it’s the orthodox who are obsessed with sex.

When a liberal says that a conservative is obsessed with sex, what he means is “Conservatives are obsessed with controlling how other people choose to have sex.”  There is a not so vague implication of hypocrisy as well - in that they assume people are secretly interested in controlling what they themselves desire to do.  Liberals fundamentally reject the idea of public restraint on sexual behavior between individuals who are capable of giving legitimate consent.  Behind all the “committed, faithful, loving relationship” babble, there is the always the Prime Directive for Human Sexuality - “The primary purpose of sex is personal gratification. All other purposes are secondary.”

Oh for [crying out loud], they’re the problem!  And you are the problem if you rely on them to do anything.

Gee, I can think of at least one reason ECUSA isn’t growing.  Might have something to do with that problem about reproduction.  KJS said it was because Episcopalians are just so darn smart, and brights have fewer children.  Actually she might also have to consider, uh, *these* folks who seem to be in a non-reproducing mode.  Because they’re so smart, you understand.  What did you think I meant???

“The ABC and other bishops need to see what’s in that zombietime.com site. “

Sometimes I’m just to curious for my own good,  it gives Steets of San Francisco a different meaning altogether, and the diocese wants to send volunteers to see that?
send on the water cannons.

I still don’t understand why anyone still thinks the +++ABC Rowan Williams is doing, saying, acting, etc. or NOT doing, saying, acting, etc because he did not or does not REALLY KNOW what was, and is going on.
GIVE ME A BREAK!!
The gentleman knows exactly what he is doing and on whose side he is on.

I was not impressed with ABC Williams after I read his books, including his “Writing in the Dust”. But I continued to give him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he was going to be a great Christian leader in the face of the clearly unChristian and dishonest manner in which Gene Robinson consecration and following events unfolded. At every point, the ABC was anything but.

The ABC and his friends are free to continue playing Church while dishonoring God at every turn. That is their choice.

Meanwhile, let me get back to my sermon preparation for tomorrow -  BCP Lectionary - Mark 6:7-13.
Oh! What’s that on verse 11 -  about if a place (people) that “will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them.”?

These are not my words: They are the WORD of the LORD.

Whether they know it or not, perhaps the horses have something to fear from the Up Your Alley participants.

I don’t know what all the excitement is all about.  It says right there that “As fair organizers, we do draw the line with public sex”.  So it’s not like they don’t have any standards.
