I love this part, because it sounds like the political surveys I’m getting lately by telephone:

Q:  Would you say that AMiA is less offensive, equally offensive, or more offensive than CANA?

I notice, too, that KJS never lets the lawyer’s language stand, even when she is essentially admitting something.  She always substitutes her own wording, I suppose, so that she can later say she did not answer “Yes” to the question.

She is smug.

KJS: “That [joining CANA] does not make theological sense in the Anglican understanding”

Makes sense to me.  Remaining in communion with ECUSA is what makes no sense to me.

So, it’s okay that TEC can evolve into something different but it is not okay for any other organization such as AMiA to evolve into something more than what it started out as! Arrogant! She is so bloody arrogant!

That woman is a disgrace!  She has assumed authority which WAS NEVER GIVEN TO HER by General Convention, and her words and actions thus have no meaning beyond assuming what actually amounts to a dictatorship.

She has NO authority over any diocese, she has NO authority over the laity, nor does she have supervisorial authority over any deacon, priest, or bishop, save for final judgment of deposition of errant bishops….and even THEN, with the connivance of David Booth Beers, Esq, only after an ecclesiastical trial, which she has seen fit to deny in Bishop Duncan’s case….again with Mr Beers’ connivance.  And all of this was done for convenience, and to expedite matters.  All for what she calls “mission strategy.”
