Too good!  “I don’t think I said that , GREG!”

and immediately follows proof that she DID say that just mere seconds before.

Rev. Kaeton isn’t happy either (scroll down to “the best we can do")

Looks like the institutional revisionists pulled off a coup at the last minute.  ++Frank’s parting gift to TEC!  So much for clarity and honesty!

Hey,

She can’t remember what she just said 5 seconds ago and that’s a good illustration of the Episcopal Church in general at this General Convention - elect Schori, defy Windsor, and then real quick on the last day fudge psuedo-compliance… Unreal.

Damn Greg, she really doesn’t like you, does she?  I mean, you were tossing softballs and she looked like she wanted to storm the pitcher’s mound.

I had assumed the revisionist outrage was staged, but after seeing this interview and reading the Kaeton link provided above, it’s pretty clear they’re genuinely upset. Which is, of course, insane.  BO33 is toothless, vague and utterly non-responsive to WR, but Rev. Russell nevertheless asserts that we represent “a small radical conservative fringe for whom nothing but capitulation to their perspective is going to be enough.”

BTW, to the extent all this focus on “the church” prevented GC from enacting a leftist agenda on Iraq, the environment, abortion, etc.—thank God!

Somebody’s been watching The Daily Show!  Good video juxtaposition - hilarious!

Have the picture, but no sound.....Bound to be something ironic there

I am proud to be a member if the “Radical Conservative Fringe”!

(Wait a minute - didn’t she also say something about labels?)

There will be a lot more disappointment and anger if the Instruments of Unity act decisively in response to GC2006 in the same vein they have been acting recently.  Removing a thorn is painful, but if healing is desired, it must be done.

Everyone has been deceived by ECUSA.  At least everyone who has been paying attention and not pretending nothing is wrong.

That little clip is just jam-packed with irony isn’t it? I think the only seven deadly sins not on full display were gluttony and lust.

And the name of her group is Integrity? I think it’s time for the Church to reclaim that word.

I think it is time the Church reclaimed a lot of things, Mousestalker!  Let us recoup, regroup and laod for the battle to come.

Wow!  She is ANGRY!  Does Schori take orders from this woman?  Sounds like that’s what’s expected.

Posted by this_day on 06-23-2006 at 02:19 AM [link]

Or for goodness sake. Of COURSE she is angry.

And, of course she hates Greg! What on earth did you expect?

Posted by Sinner on 06-23-2006 at 03:33 AM [link]

NO, no, Uncle Dino - We’re the “Vast Conservative Anglican COnspiracy"(TM)!!!!!

She has got a mouthful of teeth that’s for sure.  She is just an angry person.  I went to her blog today.  She is still angry.

bluerover: do you have a link to her site?

Posted by this_day on 06-23-2006 at 12:22 PM [link]

Oh yeah and get a kick out of the title!!!!! I got kicked off for asking a question that relates to the title of her blog....go to google and type up “an inch at a time”.

You’ve got to be kidding me!

Posted by this_day on 06-23-2006 at 12:29 PM [link]

Nope...She is real easy to aggrevate and I did for a few days until she snapped and threw me off.  It does not take much....but it was fun!!

Posted by bluerover on 06-23-2006 at 12:31 PM [link]

It’s hard to understand why she was so angry.  If GC 2006 proved anything, it demonstrated that, as president of Integrity, she is the most powerful person in the Episcopal Church, or whatever it calls itself now.

What is the big problem with those who support gay bishops and ssu to just plainly say “we dont believe what you in the AC believe and we dont care to be united”?

Posted by this_day on 06-23-2006 at 12:51 PM [link]

The heading on her blog includes an explanation of its title:

An Inch At A Time: Reflections on the Journey
Sister Joan Chittister famously said, “We are each called to go through life reclaiming the planet an inch at a time until the Garden of Eden grows green again.” Reflecting on that journey—a blog at a time—is the focus of this site.

Seems to me the Garden of Eden contained 1 man & 1 woman.  Hmmmm....

this_day - This has been our prayer for years.  Their problem is if the come out of their disquise the middle ground will recognize them for what they are and revolt.  It is the frog in the hot water theory - a little heat at a time and you can boil a live frog without a fight.  It worked great until we finally woke up and starting fighting back.  If they take this ground then they have an claim at legitimacy.  If they were truly serious about their claims and a piece of one of the largest and oldest, they would have just joined the Unification Church.  Plus they think our property and checking accounts will bankroll our own demise.  Other than that, can’t think of a thing.
